As the world navigates this new normal, we take the opportunity to celebrate some of the most amazing destinations and the people who make those places so special. In their own words, on-site partner specialists and hoteliers will offer glimpses into their lives and new routines, and share the special rituals and routines that bring their families together.
In times of uncertainty, I am proud to be part of a community that embraces difference, celebrates authenticity, and works passionately to connect people from all over the world. It is my pleasure to share some of these characters with you!

An otherworldly desert retreat, Amangiri is situated on 600 pristine acres in Canyon Point, Utah with sweeping views towards Grand Staircase-Escalante National Monument. Located in the centre of the Grand Circle, the all-season resort, its landmark Aman Spa and its secluded camp known as Camp Sarika by Amangiri are surrounded by such iconic attractions as the Grand Canyon, Monument Valley, and Bryce and Zion National Parks. The region has been home for centuries to the native Navajo tribe and presents the raw landscape for which the American Southwest is famed.
During this time when our “Peaceful Mountain” Amangiri is closed down and we patiently wait to reopen our doors and welcome back our beloved guests, the team has been working on some inspiring projects such as making scrub caps and face masks then donating these to the local hospitals and other surrounding facilities. Others have been working on household + personal projects such as training a new puppy and one team member has even completed their music album! Our General Manager, Julien Surget, has been taking it to the outdoors with his two sons and wife - exploring the gorgeous 600 acres of land that peacefully Amangiri sits on. While him and his family are also finally taking advantage and catching the magnificent sunrises and sunsets.
